Bases of establishing and maintaing authority in education from the perspective of student teachers in the international context

The dissertation thesis deals with bases of establishing and maintaining authority in education from the perspective of student teachers in the international context. The thesis is divided into six chapters, the first three of which lay down its theoretical groundwork. In the first chapter the term authority is defined both generally and from the point of view of education, then it is classified and categorized, which is followed by an outline of possible dilemmas authority may cause in education. The second chapter charts both internal and external determinants of establishing and maintaining authority in education, i.e. it deals with the influence of teacher's personality and expertise, pupil, interaction of a teacher and a pupil, official pedagogical documents, as well as social and cultural factors. The theoretical part is concluded by the review of the contemporary research of authority in education. The fourth chapter presents the research question and characterizes bases of the selected research methodology - grounded theory. Also, it describes the research plan and utilized qualitative and quantitative research methods, which include free word associations, sentence completion, mind mapping, short written narratives, focus group, and adapted QTI. Legislation of Goods Purchase in the International Context

In this work is analyzed the legislation of goods purchase in the international context. For comparison is adduced the legislation in the internatioanl context and in the Czech legal order. During the work the focus is on change in legislation of Czech law which came into effectivity on 1. 1. 2014. The work also includes an analysis of the proposal for a common European legislation purchase of goods. In the practical part is consists of model purchase agreement, which includes a comparison of international and Czech purchase contract. Partial aim of the practical part is the creation of two internal guidelines. The aim of the guidelines is the procedure for a complaint of defective goods.

Subjektem korupčních trestných činů v České republice a ve Francii je osoba obstarávající veřejný zájem. V německých zemích je subjekt užší, jedná se o úředníky veřejné správy. Skutková podstata uplácení a přijetí úplatku se v uvedených státech příliš neliší. Úplatkem je vždy výhoda materiálního i nemateriálního charakteru. Judikatura všech zemí určuje, co je ještě úplatkem a co je pouze společensky akceptovatelnou pozorností. Ve všech státech musí u přijetí úplatku existovat souvislost mezi výhodou a jednáním pachatele, které následovalo nebo předcházelo jejímu přijetí či přislíbení. Případ ujednání spočívajícího v přijetí slibu o poskytnutí politické funkce za závazek určité činnosti v rámci zastupitelského mandátu (např. vzdání se mandátu) nebyl u uvedených státech konkrétně nalezen. Pokud se týká Francie, kde mohou být poslanci potenciálními pachateli přijetí úplatku, dostupné komentáře podobný případ nezaznamenaly.

Respondents were asked to express their confidence or non-confidence to some main figures of international policy and persons involved in recent important events as well as supreme representatives of Central European countries.

April survey was focused on attitudes of Czechs to some representatives and institutions of international politics. 69% of Czechs trust the US President Barack Obama (21% distrust him), 58% trust the US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton (25% not), 48% trust the Chancellor of Germany Angela Merkel (26% distrust her) and 21% trust the Great Britain's Prime Minister David Cameron (20% distrust him, 24 % are undecided and 35 % do not know him at all). Majority of Czech citizens distrust the French President Nicolas Sarkozy (53% against 21%), the Russian President Dmitry Medvedev (57% : 21%), premier of Russia Vladimir Putin (62% : 22%) and the Prime Minister of Italy Silvio Berlusconi (62% : 13 %). The most untrustworthy representative among statesmen included in the survey for Czech public is the Libyan leader Muammar Quaddafi (80% distrust him against just 2% people expressing the opposite attitude to him). Majority of Czechs has a confidence in the United Nations (63% : 27%) and Nato (56% : 35%).
